Iain and Myself have been spectating at race meetings for several years and have also taken part in track days. When we took part in these events we were often trying to get pictures of ourselves on track but without much success. This was a common problem for other drivers too.

We both had an active interest in photography so decided to put our skills to good use and set up a website where people can view images from various motorsport events and purchase prints or discs.

We started POWER-IMAGES in December 2005, our first event being a rally event at Crail.
Since that first event we have been honing our skills and gradually upgrading our equipment. Our main venue is Knockhill Racing Circuit in Fife, they kindly provide us with full trackside access allowing the best possible pictures to be taken. We do attend other venues but we both also work full time in the construction industry so finding the time can be difficult.

As of early 2008 we have been the only official photographers for the Kirkcaldy and District Motor Club, who run the Scottish Championship motorcycle races at Knockhill race circuit. Click here for details.

As Iain is a biker, he attends most of the motorcycle events and as a car enthusiast I attend the car events although at the larger meetings we both attend and try and cover as much of the circuit as possible.
